Dustin has had many titles during the past 10 years, he was first the “sketchy” guy Sara’s sister was dating, then the dreadful “sister’s boyfriend” title. Quickly developing into “best friend” and “brother-in-law.” Dustin and Sara have been fortunate enough to face many life challenges together with a strong bond and friendship. Now with the title “Man of Honor” Sara is reminded that no matter what Dustin’s title is, he will always remain a constant cheerleader and advocate for Sara and push her to seek all of life’s adventures.
Corey Stephens
Best Man
Corey Stephens is a god above men. He has done nothing but succeed over the entirety of his life. Yet he has mastered the ability to stay humble. There isn’t a person in the world that could dislike this man. Corey and Grant met when they were in middle school at youth group, and have been close ever since. If you ask Corey to meet you in the middle he will show up at your door with caffeine and a smile.
Jenna Moberg
Matron of Honor
Jenna and Sara are childhood friends, they met around the third grade or at least that’s what they tell people, neither of them remember meeting but know it was along time ago. Jenna and Sara have perfected long distance best friend-ing as they were never in close proximity until one year of college happened. Jenna has been Sara’s cheerleader for all of her crazy adventure ideas and supported her in many many moves across state lines. Jenna is also one of the reasons Sara had the confidence to ask Grant out on their very first date.
Sean McEwen
Groomsman
Sean is the kind of person that everyone loves immediately after meeting him. If Sean is unknown to you I encourage you to start up a conversation. It will feel like you have known him your entire life. No matter where you are in life Sean is capable of meeting you where your at and spreading joy. Sean and Grant met at Oregon state and the experiences shared will be cherished stories for years to come. Sean has been a counselor, muse, and great friend to Grant since the day they met. Grant surely wouldn’t be the same person without this relationship being formed.
Kevin Kirwin
Bridesman
Big brother to the bride. The red headed lumberjack has been through all awkward stages of Sara’s life. He has always been the wiser of the two and has given her incredible advice throughout her life. He also taught her how to snowboard and wakeboard as a young child and now share a love for rock climbing. Kevin has had to practice patience his whole life while watching Sara grow up as she was (...still is) a spit fire and demon child from time to time.
Juan Araiza
Groomsman
Juan is the person you call at any hour of the day and know that he will answer and assist in any way shape or form. Juan is a caring individual who will stand by a friend through anything. Juan has one of the most infectious laughs in the world making it hard not to smile when you’re with him. Juan constantly puts others before himself and will do so for the rest of his life. Juan is a true gentleman and friend
Lexi Schiffman
Bridesmaid
Lexi is a pure ray of sunshine that lite up Sara’s world while they both worked as servers at Buffalo Wild Wings. Lexi introduced herself and invited Sara to her birthday party all in the same breath, after that the rest was history. Lexi has always been the friend to drop everything and bring over the worlds largest bottle of wine when necessary or be the adventure buddy when Sara gets restless. Lexi’s friendship has been the constant reminder that great people exist in the world and to always remain positive.
John Healey
Groomsman
John and Grant first met when Grant was in the third grade. The relationship built since then has been of nothing but love and respect. A sense of brotherhood has been established that will forever remain. John has held up the foundation in Grants life more times than one could count. If you are close to John the term “ shirt off his back “ makes little sense because if a shirt is needed he will bring you his entire dresser.
Alex Stroot
Bridesman
Stroot and Sara met at Buffalo Wild Wings back in college where Sara quickly became Stroot’s favorite bartender. Sara and Stroot shared a love for the Pacific Northwest and after college Stroot moved back to Washington where he was from. A year later Sara went through a wild child phase and up and moved to the PNW on a whim, little did they know they would end up living within miles of one another. Their friendship continued with hiking adventures and dog sitting dates with Sara’s dog Cannon. Stroot has been a constant friend to Sara and their love for adventure along with beer tasting will always bring them together.
Sam Moore
Groomsman
Sam-wise is the type of friend that will force his love upon you. Even if you think your “fine” Sam will be there to support you. Sam and Grant met as coworkers in one of the most stressful work places in the world. Through the stress Sam and Grant learned how to cope through life with one another. Sam is one of the best listeners you will ever meet. Ask, and Sam will lend an ear. Sam is one of the most strong willed person that Grant has met. If Sam sets his mind to something. It happens!
Taylor Leabo
Bridesmaid
Sister of the Groom, Taylor has played a massive role in Grant and Sara’s relationship. On their third date Grant took Sara to meet Taylor because “if Taylor doesn’t like you, this won’t work” according to Grant. Thank goodness she approved. She then became close with Sara and they often spend weekend days together running errands, shopping, or hiking together. They started calling each other their Sister-in-Law within months of Grant and Sara dating and years before they were engaged.
Nick O’Donnell
Groomsman
Nick is the person that you introduce to people that need to feel loved. He is an infectiously joyous individual. Nick and Grant met working at a halfway house supervising federal inmates. Nick was one of the few people who could put a smile on the face of a hardened convict while entering their unwanted home. Nick is often the life of the party and capable of making everyone feel welcome. A beer, good music, and Nick is all that's needed for a memorable time.
Kennedy Schull
Flower Girl
Miss Kennedy Kathleen is the niece of the bride, she is spunky and adventurous. Daughter of Dustin (the Man of Honor) and the bride’s Sister Michelle. Kennedy is the life of the party with killer dance moves. She enjoys bawking with her Uncle Grant just like he taught her how while at the zoo. Her favorite things include Mickey and Minnie Mouse along with all of the Disney princesses.
Michael Lee
Groomsman
Michael and Grant first met working together at NWRRC. Michael is one of thee most hard working and dedicated people you will ever meet. He is a drop everything and help kind of friend. It was very clear that this friendship was going to be solid after the first meet. Grant had ripped his pants (unknown to him) down the lengh of his butt. When Grant finally realised this he informed Michael of the embarrasing happening. To which Michael responded "Oh yeah i noticed that when you got here." This conversation took place two hours into the work shift.
