Let the Journey Begin…

Grant and Olivia met in a 3rd grade classroom at Traders Point Christian Academy. After a couple tough elementary school years, Grant and Olivia thought they were mature enough to try a "real" relationship in 5th grade. Dating for Grant and Olivia involved walking together at recess, sitting near each other at lunch, and sometimes even chatting in the classroom when they weren't supposed to. They would pass messages back and forth between friends, like a game of telephone. Their relationship was youthful and illegitimate, to say the least. A few months (5 days) of bliss flew by, and Olivia decided she could no longer handle the pressure of maintaining a relationship with Grant. Olivia decided to have a friend call Grant to deliver the terrible break-up news. She knew it would devastate him. Grant, however, was a strong, young gentlemen. The break-up did not phase him and he was quickly on to the next girlfriend. Grant tried to pretend like Olivia didn't mean anything to him anymore, but she knew his heart was hurting. They continued living their separate lives for a few years until their friend brought them back together. Grant and Olivia could no longer ignore their worlds colliding, their encounters with mutual friends, and the cute elementary school memories that came flooding back when they were together. Grant finally asked Olivia to be his girlfriend, again, for real this time, their Junior year of high school. They attended Indiana State University together and graduated in 2019. Now here they are, 8 years of "real" dating later, just two big kids in love. Two peas in a pod. The fruit to each others' loops.
