Mary Miller

Bride

Mary grew up in Valley City, ND as the youngest of seven children. She has worked in the healthcare field for many years as a CNA and care-giver, and is currently in school for her LPN. Mary’s five favorite things: Dogs, frozen yogurt, traveling, planting flowers, and Christmastime.

Anna is the big sister of the bride. Anna is a Full-time RN in the Fargo area, and as Mary says, “she is not only older and smarter, but wiser.” Anna has four great kids who you will definitely see running around the wedding weekend like animals, and her husband Darren, who will try his best to tame the beasts.


Ashley Ryerson

Bridesmaid

Ashley, long-time friend to the Bride, is a certified Yoga instructor who uses her knowledge to help those who struggle with addictions and other mental illnesses. Mary and Ashley first met in 6th grade at Eco Ed camp outside Valley City, ND. Ashley and Mary reconnected when Ashley moved to Valley City during their high school years and have been close ever since.

Jessica Rose

Bridesmaid

Native to SD, Jess moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area and began work in the Ag department at NDSU. Shortly after, she began dating Grant’s friend, and then roommate, Pat Lenertz. Not too long after Mary began dating Grant, she and Jess met. Instantly the two became friends, and have remained close since, sharing morning coffees, musical adventures, and laughter these last few years.


Brock Wigen

Best Man

Brock is the grooms younger brother. He has been hanging with Grant all his life. Together they have shared lots of great times, supported each other though a few tough challenges and have always had a special relationship. Brock is excited his brother found this wonderful red hair woman, Mary! She loves dogs, she cooks, keeps Grant on task and has the promise of grandchildren! Pressure is off! Way to go brother!! Grant and Mary Rock!! PS Mary taught Brock to make french bread!!

Long-time friend of the Groom. Pat works in social work and is a musician in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Pat, along with other friends, will be providing part of the musical entertainment at the wedding.

This spunky and silly girl is the youngest daughter to Anna, the Maid of Honor. She is more than ready to do her duty as flower girl!


George & Andrea Miller

Parents of the Bride

George is a retired Sergeant in the National Guard, as well as former schoolteacher and forest ranger. He grew up in Salem, Massachusetts. Andrea is a retired RN of over forty years. She grew up in Redwood Falls, MN on a farm with her twelve brothers and sisters. Growing up she helped her mother care for her younger siblings as well as assisted her family with the crops. George and Andrea met in North Dakota in their early twenties while both were attending college. They shortly married and started a life together. Outside of their careers and raising seven children, George and Andrea have been avid gardeners for years, as well as involved in their church and other affiliated charities. In their retirement, they often spend time on hobbies, and of course, their 11 grandchildren.

Like most of us gathered here today Randy and Jan grew up in small towns and found their way to Fargo where they have made their home and raised their family. They are blessed with two wonderful sons who have grown into exceptional young men. Randy has worked at Red River Commodities for over 42 years and recently retired in May. Jan has an eclectic career path as well as numerous community volunteer positions. We are excited to be welcoming a new member into our family and love Mary. They are looking forward to celebrating all the joys and blessings the future holds for Grant and Mary!
