To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline to RSVP is Saturday, April 12. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we will have to mark you as "no." We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm and we ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes early to make your way to the space in a timely manner.
Yes! See the "Travel" tab of our wedding website for a unique link to our block of rooms and group discount code at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Battle Creek. If you are arriving on Saturday, May 10, we recommend requesting an early check-in time.
No, there is no parking at the wedding venue. There will be a shuttle service for our guests. The shuttle schedule is available under the "Travel" tab. For our guests staying at the DoubleTree: The shuttle will take you to and from the venue. For our guests local to Battle Creek: We ask that you park at Marywood Golf Club. The shuttle will take you to and from the venue. Visit the "Travel" tab for the full shuttle schedule.
Yes! Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and formal cocktail dresses. Our wedding theme is Spring Garden Party, so we welcome all bright and fun colors! We recommend wearing thick, block heels to easily walk on the gravel and grass at the Manor. We know that Michigan weather can be unpredictable in May; this is an outdoor wedding, so you may want a sweater in case!
The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be in an outdoor room. We hope the sun will be shining, but make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you received a plus one, they'll be specifically listed on the RSVP page of our website. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people on the invitation be in attendance.
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family who are in our wedding party.
Yes! We've planned a set dinner menu, but please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can make accommodations in advance. We will be unable to make changes to the menu on the day of the wedding.
Yes! We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in this special moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.
The events that you are invited to for the weekend will show up when you RSVP.
Feel free to send an email to grantandmariawedding2025@gmail.com. We're happy to help, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
