Where is the Wedding?

Answer

The wedding and reception will take place at The Tate House, which is located in Tate, Georgia, at 61 Marble Mansion Lane, Tate, GA 30177.

What is the schedule for the wedding day?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by a cocktail hour, reception, and dance party.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Formal attire, suitable for an elegant evening at The Tate House. The gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while the ladies should opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress. We kindly ask that ladies refrain from wearing shades of white.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, ample parking is available on-site for all guests.

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place indoors. During Cocktail hour, guests will be able to explore the grounds, mansion, and new conservatory at the Tate House.

Are there accommodations nearby?

Answer

Several hotels and bed-and-breakfasts are located within a short drive of The Tate House. Please see our Travel tab for more details.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar during the cocktail hour and reception serving beer and wine. We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love our little ones, our venue is exclusively for adults.

Answer

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you have received a plus one, they will be specifically addressed on the invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos as you like and share them with us!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is Monday, August 11, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'No'. We are required to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

What time should I arrive at to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 6:00pm, we recommend you arrive by 5:30pm to ensure you are able to comfortably arrive on time. Guests who are not in the wedding party should not arrive more than 30 minutes ahead, unless otherwise requested.
