Lauren and Grant met where all great relationships begin—in the backyard of a TU frat house. After exchanging numbers (or, in Grant’s case, an iMessage Gmail), the two quickly became good friends. Things started slowly; they hung out at weekly Student Association Senate meetings, sitting in the back and sharing inside jokes. Before long, they were each other’s dates at formals. They started dating in July 2019 while sharing a delicious lunch of Taco Bell. Once things were official, the milestones started rolling in—from celebrating their first anniversary to Lauren graduating from law school, meeting each other’s families, and even binging an entire season of 90 Day Fiancé during COVID lockdown. Finally, Lauren and Grant moved in together, combining their lives—and their cats—under one roof. The only thing left for Grant to do was ask the most important question of his life. Lauren thankfully said yes, and the rest is history.
