Join us the night before the wedding (Friday) for a casual welcome party at a farm in Freeport. We'll have burgers, hot dogs, beer and wine, and plenty of good vibes. Attire is casual, just come comfy. There’s parking on site and beautiful trails and ocean views nearby if you’d like to explore before sunset! More info on the Schedule page.
Attire is semi-formal. Please, no jeans, flip-flops, or super casual wear. Think sundresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts, and summer suits. Ladies, please avoid stilettos - dinner will be on grass, and we want you to feel comfortable! We recommend wedges, block heels, or flats.
The ceremony is indoors. The reception will be partially indoors, partially under a tent. August in Maine is usually warm and sunny (fingers crossed!), but it can get a little chilly in the evening by the water - so bring a jacket or wrap just in case.
- Ceremony: There is a free designated parking lot that you'll see when you arrive at All Saint's Chapel. Someone will be there to direct you. - Reception: There is free parking available directly next to the Bailey Island Library Hall, on the left side of the building. Additional free parking is available at Johnson Field Preserve, just a short walk down the road. *** Please do not leave your car at any of these locations overnight - doing so is prohibited by the property owners. We don't want anyone to get towed! *** Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are hard to come by on Bailey Island, so we recommend carpooling, arranging a designated driver or scheduling a taxi.
We ask that you refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. After that, snap away!
We’re serving up classic Maine cuisine for dinner (think fresh, local, and delicious!). If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know ahead of time. There will be an open bar with beer, wine, and a limited selection of spirits.
Your presence is truly the best gift. But if you'd like to contribute, we do have a registry linked on this website - no pressure at all!
