We're getting married!

Grant and I first crossed paths in November 2019, a serendipitous encounter that unfolded during my visit to the University of Alabama, where I was a senior in high school and he was just beginning his journey as a freshman. Little did I know, I was choosing more than just a school; I was unknowingly stepping into a beautiful love story that would shape my future. From the first time we met, a captivating spark ignited between us, drawing us closer with an undeniable magnetism. The joy of our shared laughter and the warmth of our conversations quickly led Grant to ask for my Snapchat, a simple request that marked the beginning of our story. Once I returned home, our bond deepened as we indulged in hours of late-night chats and FaceTime calls that felt like the world faded away, leaving just the two of us in our own little universe. As February 2020 approached, the anticipation of seeing each other again turned into reality. We decided it was time to reunite in person for Valentine's Day, and I flew to Tuscaloosa, where we created a weekend filled with magic and memories. Each moment we spent together solidified the undeniable bond we shared, transforming our seemingly casual bond into something profoundly beautiful. Though we initially planned to take our time and wait until August when I would start school, God had other intentions. When Covid swept through, it brought Grant back home, and in March 2020, he took a brave step, asking me to be his girlfriend. Now, as October 2024 unfolds, we find ourselves reflecting on our journey with hearts full of gratitude. The love we’ve nurtured has blossomed into something extraordinary, and the growth we've experienced, both individually and together, feels like the most precious gift. Each day is a reminder of the incredible adventure that lies ahead, and we are excited to embrace all that our future holds, hand in hand, heart to heart.
