We matched on Bumble (it works you guys!) Our first date was at the Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach, CA and then we went across the street to Bluebird Canyon to a concert in the park. We couldn't tell you who was playing because we just chatted the whole time! After that almost every weekend was filled with adventures from camping in Joshua tree, climbing mountain peaks, paddling oceans, biking around Spain, seeing plays in Philadelphia, visiting Kate's hometown in England, and enjoying living at the beach with our pup Rosco! Cheers to a lifetime of more adventures!

We were camping in Santa Barbara and after coffee (priorities) and watching a magnificent sunrise over the harbor we got to talking about our New Year's resolutions. Kate had goals of being her best self, being a better leader at work etc. and Grant just said his was easy and got on one knee and said 'My New year's resolution is to love you for the rest of my life'. Wow. Tears, hugs and a HUGE YES! We spent the rest of the weekend living it up in Santa Barbara and then on to Paso Robles to go wine tasting (you get a lot of free Champagne when you're engaged!). We kept our news to ourselves for the weekend and told family then friends when we got home!
