How should I get to the venue?
Answer
There is a lot of construction currently around the area but there is still plenty of parking available! Curate does have a small lot but is very limited. There is also street parking on E Fourth St. and E Court Ave. You may have to pay for the street parking. You can also utilize the Walnut Creek Church parking lot for FREE which is located on 323 E Locust St. Des Moines, Iowa 50309.

Can I bring my kids?

Unfortunately, we have limited capacity. Please check your RSVP to see who is included in your invite. Thank you for understanding! In return, we also understand if you cannot find someone to care for your child/children for the night and are not able to come.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive no earlier than 2:30PM. Our Ceremony begins at 3PM.

The Ceremony and Reception are in the same building! Curate Event Venue: 322 E Court Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309

Where should I sit?
Answer
Immediate family will have assigned seating. Please find an open seat that is not reserved. If you need, an usher will be avialable to assist you in finding a seat. :)

What time should I go home?
Answer
Our last call for drinks will be at 10:30. We will end our reception at 11PM as we will need to clean up by 12PM. If you are not ready for the party to end, The East Village is full of late night fun!

Will you be serving alcohol?
Answer
We will be serving: beer, wine and mixed drinks. The bride and groom will also have a signiture drink available during our cocktail hour.

What should I wear?
Answer
We would like our guests to dress semi-formal, black tie optional, whichever you prefer. It will be pushing late October, early November weather vibes. In other words - you never know what the temperature may be! You may consider a long sleeve, however, we will be inside for most of the day/night. As far as colors go, think Fall: oranges, greens, browns and black. Or my favorite style, "you do you!" Of course, we are not trying to out-do the bride or groom. Keep it classy, not sassy. Thanks!
