Grant and Jenny both started working at Southwest Airlines at around the same time in 2014. Jenny had just graduated college, and was excited to start working at her dream company, while Grant had just wrapped up two years of consulting at McKinsey and moved to Dallas to start the next phase of his career. Grant and Jenny were introduced to each other when they were both asked to help Southwest recruit students from the University of Texas, their alma mater, and the rest was history!

Grant had been planning a trip for both to take in May of 2018. He told Jenny the destinations were a surprise for her birthday, but had secretly already bought the ring and hired a photographer for their stop in Greece. Once they arrived on the beautiful island of Santorini, they rode ATVs around the island, visited some beaches, relaxed at a winery, and then Grant revealed that they needed to get ready for a photoshoot (disguised as a birthday present!). With Skaros Rock in the background and the photographer snapping away, Grant got down on his knee and asked Jenny to marry him! Promising many more adventures come of course... Jenny said YES and they celebrated their engagement over the rest of the trip in many other beautiful places around Europe!
