Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. We are not requiring men to wear neckties and women may wear cocktail or mid-length dresses. Please make sure you dress comfortably and accordingly for the outdoor ceremony.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Texas is pretty unpredictable as far as the weather is concerned. We are praying for sunny and cool weather, however please note that it may very well be cold or muggy. Please prepare for either.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Luckily, the ceremony and reception are in the same location. Both are taking place at Hotel Crescent Court in downtown Dallas. The ceremony will be outside in the courtyard and the reception will be in the Garden Room right next to the courtyard.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony we will have an intimate four-course dinner and about an hour and a half to mingle or, if you like to dance, we will have a DJ to keep the party going.

What are the Covid-19 requirements/protocols?

Answer

Currently, Dallas County is requiring all guests to wear masks indoors. If you do not bring a mask, we will have one provided for you. We do strongly encourage every guest to be fully vaccinated and take a Covid-19 test prior to the wedding day.

Does the wedding have a theme?

Answer

Our wedding's theme is classic, timeless fairytale. The colors are white with hints of black and gold.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

If you are unable to make it to the wedding, please know that we love you and totally understand based on the circumstances. Please just make sure you head to the website and reply "Will Not Attend" to the RSVP.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5PM, but we do ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes before.

Where should guests park?

Answer

We will have complimentary valet parking for all guests. Please just make sure you let the valet attendants know you are with the "Hodges Wedding." If you feel uncomfortable with this option you may self park in the parking garage for a fee.

Are there hotel room blocks?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not having room blocks because we do not have enough out-of-town guests for a block, however I have left a few great recommendations in the Hotel tab. If you need more recommendations outside of the downtown Dallas area please just let me know.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is by Friday, October 15th.

Are there any vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options?

Answer

If you do have any special dietary restrictions please let us know in the RSVP section.

Where are you registered?

Answer

If you wish to give, we do have a registry through this website. Please just head to the Registry tab where you will be able to contribute if you wish.
