Yes, how we met is pretty much the plot of your next favorite rom com. An NYC girl comes back home for the holidays, decides last minute to go to her to her ten-year high school reunion, only to be swept off her feet by the local firefighter/dreamboat, Grant Kelly. After a dog walk, cheap beers, dinner and a few "what the hell is going on" conversations they decided to start dating... long distance (gasp). Grant saw it as a win-win, he would get to visit his mysterious NYC girlfriend, and have a built in tour guide with it. But, that dream was short-lived, when Hailey was visiting in March 2020 and the whole world shut down. She decided to wait it out in Portland with her cute new boyfriend. Weeks turned to months and in August 2020 they headed to NYC to pack up her apartment and move this Portland girl back home. Over the past four years we've done a lot... Grant has become a self-proclaimed "small dog person", Hailey probably knows more about fire fighting than most actual firefighters, and we continue to be so excited for the next steps of life together.
