Greta: Grant and I both grew up in Eden Prairie, we had a ton of mutual friends, but I didn’t know of him until my freshman year of High School. Grant was the cool guy; he was a good football/basketball player that everyone knew. I was a little shy in high school, so we never actually talked, but my friends and I would always talk about Grant. Our little sisters Ellie & Tatum have been best friends forever and were always scheming on how they could get us together. It wasn’t until 2012, my junior year, that I finally agreed to a date, and yes, Ellie and Tatum also joined. We went to get ice cream and it was an immediate connection. We had a few more dates where Ellie and Tatum joined (remember, I was pretty shy in high school) then finally, we hung out alone for the first time after Grants football game, that quickly became a tradition where I would go watch him play football on Friday nights and then we would hangout. It is so crazy for me to believe that we first hung out 8 years ago and next year at this time we will be MARRIED. Life with Grant has always been so easy, fun, filled with laughter, love and adventure and I cannot wait for forever together. Grant: For those of you who knew me in High School, you’ll agree in me saying I was a little "too cool for school". Not with Greta. She was different. At the time, I didn’t know exactly what about her made me so intrigued, but I knew there was something about her.. "Our story" began with a whole lot of denial…I tried again and again to get her to hang out with me – no luck. Finally (and after a lot of pushing from best friend’s Tatum and Ellie) she agreed to an ice cream date (I hesitate to call it a date as her one condition was our sisters had to join). One ice cream date turned into two, two to three and we started officially dating shortly thereafter. We’ve been together for 8 years since – falling deeper in love every day. I feel like the luckiest man alive and I am so excited to marry Greta.
