Unbeknownst to him, this person was Gray, who worked for a mega bookstore company that was in direct competition with Grant’s mom-and-pop bookstore. Despite this, they fell in love– oh, wait... this is the plot to “You’ve Got Mail” (1998). Gray and Grant actually met via an algorithm (a 96% match, no less!). But on their second date, they got into the real stuff: families, values, and dreams of getting married one day. Five years, four nieces and nephews, countless seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, and one global pandemic later, their second date hypothetical is becoming a reality.
