Is there a dress code?
Answer
We kindly request that attire for our wedding ceremony be modest and respectful of the church setting. For women, this means no spaghetti straps, strapless dresses, or super short hemlines. Men are encouraged to wear a suit; ties are optional. Please keep in mind that our reception will be partially outdoors on a yacht. We recommend checking the weather closer to the date and dressing accordingly for both comfort and style.

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Our 4-hour celebration aboard the beautiful 4-story yacht, The Catherine Marie, will begin boarding at 5:45 PM following our wedding Mass in Baltimore. The drive to downtown Annapolis takes about 40 minutes, and please note there is no on-site parking—guests driving themselves will need to use a nearby garage. We kindly ask that you plan ahead to ensure a smooth arrival. Once boarding opens, guests will have about 15 minutes to get settled before we set sail promptly at 6:00 PM!

Before our ceremony, we invite those interested to join us for a guided tour of the basilica at 12:30 pm. Learn about its rich history and architectural beauty firsthand. Additionally, there will be a rosary before Mass at 1:15 pm. All are welcome to participate in this special moment of reflection and unity. We ask that everyone be seated by 1:45 pm.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
Please note, our church and reception venues are located 40 minutes apart. If you are traveling from abroad, we recommend arranging for a taxi or rental car service for your convenience. Transportation will not be provided.

What should I know about the reception?
Answer
Our wedding reception will be held aboard Watermark Journey's Catherine Marie, cruising for 4 hours down the Severn River. PLEASE NOTE: Once the boat departs, it will be out on the water for the full 4 hours—you cannot leave early. If you're RSVPing, please make sure you're comfortable committing to the entire duration of the cruise. The views will be stunning, with a sea breeze, a sunset on the water, delicious food, great company, and dancing the night away, but it's important to plan accordingly!

Will alcohol be provided at your reception?
Answer
We will not be providing alcohol at our wedding reception. There will not be a cash bar. We hope you understand our decision and join us in creating wonderful memories together!
