Question

Where is the Wedding Ceremony and Reception taking place?

Answer

Please click the Schedule Tab in the upper navigation for this info.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is Black-Tie Preferred. So, we encourage you to wear a tuxedo, nice suit, formal gown, formal cocktail dress, formal jumpsuit, or nice pantsuit. The ceremony area has brick flooring that may be uneven in some areas, so block heels could be a more comfortable shoe choice. Need help? Question

Are there any colors that should be avoided?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride: white, ivory, and cream.

Question

What time do I need to arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony starts at *5:30 pm sharp*. Please plan to arrive at The Court of Two Sisters between 5 pm - 5:15 pm and be seated by 5:20 pm. If you arrive right at the ceremony start time or if you arrive during the ceremony, you will not be seated. :(

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you receive a plus one, they'll pop up under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding as we keep our celebration cozy and intimate.

Question

Are the wedding events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors/outdoors. The average temperature in New Orleans in October is the high 70s (25-ish celsius) during the day and the mid-50s (12-ish celsius) at night, so please bring a jacket in case you get chilly. October is generally pretty dry in NOLA, but it never hurts to pack an umbrella or raincoat just in case.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding celebration is adults-only (aside from children in our immediate family). Thank you for your understanding!

Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 5th at the latest.

Question

Is parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no reserved parking on-site at the venue. :( Considering our wedding is on a Saturday and street/lot parking may be hard to find, we encourage you to book a room under our hotel block (Hotel Theo) that's within walking distance. Alternatively, you can take an Uber/Lyft/Taxi from wherever you've chosen to stay. If you're arriving via car, we recommend scheduling in some extra travel time in case there's traffic or in the event that it's hard to find a parking spot. Also, if you plan on using a rideshare service, you may want to schedule your pickup ahead of time through their app to avoid any delays of getting matched with an available driver.

Question

How should I get to the wedding?

Answer

Please plan to arrange your own transportation to the venue from where you will be staying as there will be no shuttle service.

Question

Can we take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is unplugged, so please keep your phones out of sight. We have hired a super talented photographer to capture all of the special moments during the ceremony. However, you're absolutely welcome to use your phones during the reception. :)

Question

Do you have any lodging recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at a hotel near the wedding venue in the French Quarter. Please click on the The Lodging and Travel Tab in the upper navigation for these details.

Question

Is there a rain plan?

Answer

Yep! Both the ceremony and reception will happen indoors at the same venue if it's icky outside.

Question

What do I do if I can't make it after I already RSVP'd?

Answer

Things happen and we totally understand if something changes and you're no longer able to celebrate with us! Please just let us know as soon as possible if you aren't able to make it so we can communicate the change with our venue.

Question

Anything else going on over the weekend?

Answer

Grab a drink with us on Friday, if you want! The details for this little pre-wedding shindig can be found by clicking the Schedule Tab in the upper navigation.

Question

Why are you getting married in NOLA if you aren't from there? Is there any significance?

Answer

Not really — we just figured it would be a fun place for everyone to meet up since we'll all have to travel anyway. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
