Grant and I met in May of 2019 after being set up on a double date with friends, in which I did not really want to go. However, after the date, I was completely charmed and was already looking forward to the next time I would see him. Being with Grant has always been easy, full of laughs and conversations that make me feel understood and accepted, exactly as I am. In July of 2019 we started dating. In May of 2022, we survived the challenges of a long distance relationship, graduated from college, and moved in together. In October of 2023, we bought our first house together. In June of 2024, Grant got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It was a 'yes' that I had been waiting a long time to say. A 'yes' that had always been his. -Calista
Calista and I started talking after I finally got up the courage to message her on Snapchat and say, "Hey! What's up?". After awkwardly texting, we finally went on a double date with friends and then our first date at Red Lobster followed by mini golf. I was so nervous about starting a long distance relationship, but we hit it off immediately and fit together so well. We learned we had a lot in common (most importantly, she was the only woman I'd ever known that had read Ready Player One and would talk to me about it in length). After years of building a relationship together, I knew she was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. We have both grown so much together and make each other better every day. I can't wait for her to be my wife. -Grant
