Why is there no RSVP option to the wedding mass?

Answer

We would love to see all of you at our wedding mass! This will be the most important and special part of our day. We chose to not request RSVPs to this event because the church is quite large and can accommodate all our guests easily, so we do not need this information for our planning purposes. We can't wait to see you there! ◡̈

Is there overnight parking at the reception venue?

Answer

If needed, you may leave your vehicle in the Barn III parking lot overnight.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Want to ride the red bus to the red barn? ◡̈ The Barn III is 27 miles from St. Patrick Church and 21 miles from the Hyatt. For the safety and enjoyment of our guests, we have reserved a bus to provide transportation for those interested. The bus will depart from the Uptown Normal Hyatt Hotel at 4:30 PM and will return at the end of the reception. The bus will be available to all of our guests, not just those who are staying at the Hyatt. For planning purposes, please note your interest on the RSVP portal.

What is the monogram on our invitations?

Answer

Auspice Maria is Latin for “under the protection of Mary.” This monogram of an interwoven A and M is a symbol used to designate someone or something as being dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Jesus is the king of the Universe; the crown honors His mother as the queen. The stars above the crown point us to the book of Revelation in which Mary has a crown of twelve stars on her head. The stars also remind us of the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve apostles symbolizing the perfect authority of the Church. It is our desire to grow closer to Christ, and so we ask Mary, our heavenly mother, to take us and our marriage under her protection and to guide us closer to her Son, our Lord.
