Grant and Amber first met in high school, where they shared the same class from Grade 8 through to Matric. Although they spent most of those years in different friendship circles, things changed in their final year when a friendship gradually turned into something more. Grant’s "bold" attempt at flirting — stealing Amber’s scarf in class — marked the beginning of their first relationship. After finishing school, life took them in different directions as they focused on growing, studying, and building their own paths. Despite the time apart, their connection remained. In 2024, they reconnected and decided to give their relationship another chance, this time with greater maturity and clarity about what they wanted. In 2025, Grant made it official by getting down on one knee and asking Amber to spend the rest of her life with him. Fast forward to 2026, and here they are, now counting down the days until their wedding and the beginning of their forever.
