Matron of Honor
God is always good, and what He does is good. One measure of His abundant goodness in my life is by allowing me to be Alli’s older sister. Being less than two years apart, I don’t have many memories without her. There are countless times where she made me laugh until I couldn’t stand or lifted me up when my spirits were low, but my favorite time to reminisce on is the season of life where we transitioned from just sisters, to friends. God designed Alli with a desire to encourage, setting aside her own needs to bring joy to others. Friendship with Alli and Grant is just that— joy filled laughter. My husband and I thank God He has positioned us close to them; as brother, sister, and friend, and that we would all be allowed to continue to grow and experience His joy together for the rest of our lives.

Grant and I met when he began college at Cal. My first real memory with him (or lack thereof) was during a rush event for my fraternity (which Grant would eventually join) where in the process of playing bubble soccer Grant gave me a concussion. Outside of that the rest of our adventures have been mostly injury free. Our friendship grew from there and we grew close through our shared love of any activity that required athleticism, country music, our faith and just the overwhelming general similarities we have as people thanks to both of our amazing sets of parents raising us the right way. I’ve been lucky enough to make countless fun memories with Grant and Alli (Grant “won’t remember” the time Alli out drove him on the 3rd hole of the Tahoe golf course two years ago) and can’t wait to make many more with the two of them in the years to come. Some background on me, I grew up in California and live in Manhattan now. Big enjoyer of the gym, golf courses, dogs and good food.

I'm thankful I transferred to Gregori because that's where I met Alli and Grant! I'll always cherish how Alli welcomed me into her friend circle with open arms. From senior assassination, grad night at Disneyland, golfing with the boys, breakfast at Velvet, and many more memories, two stand out. First, when Alli and Grant took our friend group out on the boat – they were like our parents, planning everything and taking care of us. In all seriousness, we had the best day! The second memory is from when we all went to the cabin. I remember Alli and I having so much fun in Costco, planning all the meals for the weekend. Then, we all went sledding in the snow together, like little kids again, having the time of our lives. Love you both and so happy to be part of your big day!

Our bromance began in the hallowed halls of the UC Berkeley gym in 2019, where Grant strutted up to me with a protein shake in one hand and pure admiration in his eyes. He marveled at my lifting skills, declaring me the "Arnold Schwarzenegger of Berkeley." Little did he know, I was just trying to impress the gym's vending machine. Fast forward, and Grant's aspiration to be me has led to an uncanny resemblance in our workout routines, wardrobe choices, and even our questionable dance moves. From flexing in the mirror to perfecting the art of the high-five, our friendship has only grown stronger. Here's to Grant: may his muscles and humor keep expanding at the same rate! My hobby’s consist of building rocket ships and typically being the smartest person in the room. That’s it. No other hobbies.

It is the biggest blessing to be able to call both Alli and Grant my very best friends for the past 8 years. Alli and I met the summer before our freshman year of high school and since then have made countless unforgettable memories. She has been someone that has been with me through it all and has truly shown me what it means to have an unconditionally loving best friend; I am so grateful for her and our friendship. Grant has always been someone I can count on to make me laugh, provide support, and most importantly take great care of my best friend. He has always been such a light in everyone’s lives and I can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next. I feel so lucky to have been able to watch them grow into such amazing individuals, but even better partners. I am beyond excited for these two to officially tie the knot - cheers to Alli & Grant, and lifetime of happiness!

As my roommate, Alli made my senior year of college unforgettable. For as long as I’ve known Alli she has been a person I can turn to for anything - from relationship advice to makeup product recommendations. Alli is one of those friends that truly wants the best for you, and isn’t afraid to push you in that direction. I will always cherish our meaningful conversations, endless laughs, movie nights, caje coffee dates, and countless nights downtown. It has been so special to see Alli and Grant grow together as a couple. I am so happy for you both, love you so much!

Grant and I met in the first week of college at UC Berkeley during freshers week. My first real memory when I look back, was when we studied in the Blackwell dorms and bonded over our aspirations in life. Throughout our time in college we took many of the same classes, went through the same job recruitment processes and enjoyed partying when we could. One of the most memorable times was our joint celebration of 4th July in Tahoe last summer. Grant was able to showcase the proper American experience and I felt right at home with all his family. Some context on myself, I am from Germany but grew up across the world. I just spent the last 6 months traveling South America and now live in LA.

To know Grant and Alli is to love them. I was lucky enough to be introduced to the couple during our freshman year of college through mutual friends. One of my fondest memories with the two of them was when they visited Fullerton for a long weekend during our sophomore year. Alli and I instantly became close at this time- it was as if we’d known each other for years! Alli is genuinely one of the kindest, funniest, and all around best people I know, and I’m grateful to call her my friend. I couldn’t be happier she has found someone like Grant who is equally as wonderful and perfectly completes her. I wish them all the best as they continue to build a beautiful life together and can’t wait to be a part of their special day!

Alli and I lived together in closet-sized rooms for two years while attending college, and I am so thankful for these last two years together. I have never experienced a friendship like hers, nor the amount of love I could have for one person. She is the most dependable, honest, sweetest, and most thoughtful soul I have come across and I am so thankful to have her as such a huge part of my life. She has helped me develop into a better person, grow in areas I couldn't even imagine at the time, and create some of the best memories I will forever cherish. From our endless movie nights, spikeball marathons at the beach, art projects, spring break trips, to countless hours studying, walks in isla vista, and delusional conversations that make us laugh until we cant breathe, I have cherished every moment and I am so excited to do life with you. I am so thankful to have seen Grant and Alli’s love that has developed throughout their relationship. Hearing the stories, dates, and experiences they have had together has truly been my first witness of true love. Your relationship has fully influenced me and my future for the better and for that I am so thankful. I have never seen two people more meant for eachother and I can't wait to celebrate your guys love and big day together!

Grant and I first met on a spring break trip to Mexico. Despite not knowing each other and coming from different backgrounds, we quickly formed a strong connection bonding over knee surgeries, David Goggins and sports. Since we met, I’ve always admired Grant’s ability to balance both discipline and hard-work with joy and happiness at an extremely high-level. I’m excited to see all the amazing things Alli and Grant will achieve together! Some recent highlights of my life include: Graduating from Cal with Grant, Traveling around Africa, Moving to Santa Monica.

Since the dawn of time (my conception) only one person has ever dared to stand in my way. From getting in line at dinner (he ate all the food) to being stronger than me (he benches 225 for 8-10+ reps) to making more money than I (he’s in FINANCE). I have always been in a state of competition with my brother Grant Sutter. It has by no means been easy to live up to the expectations he has set for me, but he has helped create a fighter willing to do what it takes to be successful. He has motivated me when I needed a push (I did not want to jump off that cliff), has shown there is more to life than BO2 (he rage quit), and has always been there for me when I needed him (he told me to write that). However it is for these reasons I am the man I am today. He may take credit for my profound accomplishments (world champion underwater basket weaver, undefeated bird identifier, 3x house games hand ball winner, ect.) but in reality he should since I made all those things up. Nevertheless I am proud to say Grant is my big brother and I appreciate all that he has done for me. Now he’s getting married and I get to celebrate his tax deductions, time flys.

Alli and I met two years ago when we started attending UCSB and moved into a small ocean view apartment with 5 other girls. Due to our limited space, I got to know Alli very well and I have made some of my most cherished memories with her. Some of my favorite are just as simple as hanging out with our roommates and not being able to stop laughing over the silliest things. Over the past two years (and two years of being roommates), I can say Alli is such a funny, creative, loyal, and beautiful person. Alli and Grant together make such a great team—I've never seen two people complement each other so well! I'm so happy for them both and so excited to see what their future holds!

Hi I’m Trevor and I’m Grant’s big brother. Grant and I have shared many memories growing up together and we have seen each other develop into the muscle-bound, goal-oriented and passionately ambitious people we are today. Being the big brother, I can easily pick up on his vibe and when he is with Alli you can see he is home. Welcome to the family Alli, cheers to the future!
