There, and still today, Grant and I enjoy the same pastime activities: playing sports, video games, and demolishing his mom's spectacular jackfruit 'pulled pork' vegan sandwiches. The same year I met Grant, I also met Alex in Mrs. Warren's microsociety class, 'EC Law.' Only a year later, Alex traded in her 'EC court gown' to work with Grant as an Emerald City recycler. Much has happened since then, but many things haven't changed: Grant is still one of my best friends, Alex is living out her 'EC Law' dreams, and both of them continue to create a life together."
