Love Isn't Cancelled. But the Wedding is.

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the cancellation of our wedding celebration on Sept 5th 2020 in Asheville. We're not sure what the next 7 weeks will bring regarding Coronavirus but with much thought we've decided it wouldn't be responsible for us to invite our loved ones here right now. Love Is Not Cancelled! Although we won't be having a large celebration on September 5th, we do plan on getting married but right now we're not even sure where or how this will happen. We are disappointed but we are still so thankful to get to marry each other! We love you all and we pray for health and safety in these uncertain times! God is SO faithful. We have set our hope on Him and we pray you will too - He is so good.

We're planning our Wedding and we want you to be there! We'll update this website and send formal invitations when we have more details planned. We can not wait to celebrate with you!

We are monitoring the North Carolina guidelines closely. We are in Phase 2 as of 6/7/20 but are planned to enter Phase 3 by the end of June. We don't know what Phase 3 actually means yet so we are planning the wedding for September under the assumption that COVID is still impacting our lives but hopefully to a lesser degree than today. With that in mind, here is what we know so far: #1 - We want you here BAD. However, we understand these are uncertain times and we just don't know what things will exactly be like come September 5th. So, we will ask that you decide to RSVP when you are comfortable making that decision. Our venue and catering is flexible! #2 - We have chosen a venue that will allow us extra space to socially distance including indoor and outdoor spaces. #3 - We will have an abundance of hand sanitizer! #4 - We will ask that you bring your favorite party face mask just in case we do need to wear them! We will continue to monitor the NC state guidelines and protocols and keep this site updated with that information as we countdown to our big day.
