Maid of Honor
Amber is my older sister and best friend all wrapped into one. We were born only 15 months apart from each other and got to experience elementary, middle, and high school together (and had to deal with teachers constantly mixing us up). Amber is always there when I need her and I am thankful to have such an amazing big sister/role model.
Best Man
Spencer is my older brother and is a year and a half older than I am. Growing up I had a friend to play with and as we got older it was always either watching or playing sports. I can say with certainty that I would not be the sports maniac I am if I didn't grow up with Spencer. We got along well enough to be roommates throughout college and for a couple summers after that. Spencer is always there for me and I am thankful to have had a person to look up to my entire life.
Maid of Honor
Ashley is my oldest sibling and was my undergraduate college roommate while I lived in Menomonie. There were plenty of nights growing up where Amber and I would fight and cry for hours about who got to sleep downstairs in Ashley's bed with her because it was so cool to sleep with the older sister. I learned many things from Ashley and I am thankful to have an older sister like her.
Best Man
Hudson is my little brother and even though we are nine years apart we have always gotten along very well. Some of my best memories are coming home from college and hanging out with Hudson all night and jamming out in my 2002 Ford Escape. Hudson is by far one of the kindest people I have ever met and I am proud to be his brother.
Bridesmaid
I first met Ally in sixth grade when we both transitioned to Barron from our smaller elementary schools. Although we live far away from each other, we always pick up right where we left off and can laugh about all of the embarrassing things that we did in our younger years. I couldn't imagine my big day without Ally in it!
Groomsman
I met Tyler in college and became friends within a day. Our "Party for 2" took off and hasn't slowed down since. He is always willing to make the drive from Bloomer to get together and play softball, go golfing, or just hang out. If you are looking for Tyler, he will be the one on the dance floor singing every word of every Shania Twain song.
Bridesmaid
I met Janessa in one of my undergraduate classes at UW-Stout when we were randomly selected to be partners on a project in class. While completing the project, we realized how much we have in common and ended up spending the last year of undergrad with each other constantly. There are not many weekends that Grant and I don't hang out with Janessa and her boyfriend Derrick!
Groomsman
Jake is another friend I met in college. He lived down the hallway in Murray Hall at UW-Eau Claire. Jake became one of my closest friends while living together for 2 years in Eau Claire. Jake is one of the funniest people I know and if we are together it usually turns into us laughing so hard we can't even explain to the others what is so funny.
Bridesmaid
Gina was one of my first friends when I transitioned to Barron from Ridgeland Elementary School in sixth grade. We shared many memories playing sports together and got to travel together often for all of the basketball and volleyball tournaments. Gina is a very loyal friend and is always up for a spontaneous day. I couldn't have my big day without Gina being apart of it!
Groomsman
I met Trent in the same hallway of Murray Hall in freshman year at UWEC. We immediately hit it off because of our love of sports and have lots more in common. We played many games of NBA live 2006 and Madden in the dorms before living together for the next two years. Tetz will always be able to tell you the newest thing about the Bucks, Brewers, and Packers and is somehow verified on twitter for tweets about those things and his favorite fast food restaurants (@ttetz5).
Bridesmaid
I met Hannah in my undergraduate classes at UW-Stout. She was the most distracting person to be around, but we still managed to graduate somehow! There are always a lot of laughs shared when I'm with Hannah and I wouldn't spend my big day without her by my side.
Groomsman
Taylor and I met for the first time in elementary school when we went to the same school for a year or two. He then moved to Chetek and we got to play high school sports against each other. We really became good friends in college when we were roommates in Murray Hall and then the following two years too. I took my first flight in my life to visit him in Idaho where he now lives. Taylor is the friendliest person I have ever met and I am thankful that I became so close to him as I have.
Bridesmaid
I met Afton in middle school through sports. Although she was a grade older than me, most of my past (and current) memories include Afton in them. We both share a love of basketball and often traveled together in different states to play. Afton has always been the life of the party at nearly all events, so you will be sure to catch her out on the dance floor on our big day!
Groomsman
Danny is another roommate of mine for two years that I also met in Murray Hall freshman year of college. We have a lot in common and even though he was across the country the past few years for chiropractic school when we get together it's like we hangout every week.
Bridesmaid
I first met McKenzie, or Mackers as I like to call her, in sixth grade when we both transitioned to Riverview Middle School. She was one of my closest friends all through middle and high school and I am very fortunate to now gain her as a sister in law!
Groomsman
I didn't know Andrew until I started dating Alyssa, but we got along right away. There is a slight chance that he might be better than me at picking on her and always has something funny to say. I am happy that I gained him as a friend and brother in law!
Flower Girl
Hunter is Alyssa's niece that she also lived with during her undergraduate years of college. She is so excited to be part of Auntie Lyssa's and Uncle Grant's big day and will light up the room with her cuteness!
Usher
Quinn is my cousin and in that one of my first friends growing up. He is the best hunter and fisherman I know and could probably give anyone you know a run for their money too. Growing up we were always doing something outside whether it was exploring in the woods or Spencer, him, and I playing our favorite game at Grandpa and Grandma's house "Tackle Grant."
Usher
Quade is another one of my cousins and even though there is a 10 year and 10 day age difference, we get along like we are the same age. He has always been tough and always tried to rough house growing up. These days I usually try to get one good hit in and tap out as soon as I can because he has caught up with me if not passed me in size and strength.
Usher
Wyatt is another cousin of mine and will eventually get to be my student in class! He knows almost every fact about the NFL and we get along great. He has really kept me moving at our family gatherings usually playing a football game. He is an awesome kid and it has been fun watching him mature into the caring young man he now is.
Father of the Bride
My dad has always been there for me in every step of my life. No matter where I played a game of basketball or volleyball, my dad was always there to support me and lecture me on how to improve on the drive home. He is one of the most sarcastic people I know and everyone always claimed that I am the only Misselt sibling that looks more like him than my mom!
Father of the Groom
My dad was the first person I ever looked up to and I am very fortunate to have a role model like him to learn from. Growing up he was always willing to pitch us baseballs, be the all-time QB, or play 21 with on the hoop out back. He also was my coach in all three of those sports for many years and I am thankful for all the support he showed throughout my childhood. He still supports me by driving 40 minutes just to watch me stand on the sideline and be the coach that I learned how to be from him.
Mother of the Bride
I have learned to appreciate and have gotten much closer with my mom since moving out after high school. If there is any question I have about adulting, I always go to my mom first. She has been a great role model to myself and my siblings through our lives and I am thankful to have a mom that loves and supports her children in everything they do. She has been practicing her Tik Tok dances for mine and Grant’s big day!
Mother of the Groom
My mom is the most caring person I have ever met in my life and I have always hoped that a lot of that would rub off on me. She put up with a lot while we were kids not only from me and my siblings, but whoever other of our friends were also running around the house! I am very proud that I followed in her footsteps in becoming a teacher, although I could never handle the littles nearly as well as she does! I owe a lot of who I am today to her and I am so thankful for all the love and support she continues to give me.
