On August 21, 2022, fate brought Nick and Alicia together at a charming little gelato shop in Chesapeake, Virginia. What began as a chance encounter quickly blossomed into an instant connection. So strong, in fact, that they planned their very first date the very next day—an afternoon at the movies, enjoying an animated film and discovering just how easily they could make each other smile. Over the years, their adventures have taken them across states and around the world. From exploring new destinations to sampling unforgettable cuisines, they have built a shared love for discovering all the wonderful flavors and experiences life has to offer. Along the way, they have grown not only as individuals, but also as partners, strengthening their faith and deepening their walk with Christ together. Then came December 17, 2025—the day Nick made his BIG MOVE. On the beautiful island of  the Bahamas, surrounded by family, crystal-blue waters, and more than 5,000 cruise passengers and crew members, Nick got down on one knee and asked Alicia to spend forever with him. It was the kind of proposal usually reserved for dreams—grand, joyful, and unforgettable.
