Our story

May 2018 Started our journey by being set up to go to our senior prom together.

June 2018 Graduated high school and entered into our first summer together, knowing we were heading to different schools in the fall.

January 2019 Celebrated our first new years together when home from break.

October 2019 Celebrated milestones throughout our relationship even when battling long distance with school.

September 2020 Got sent home from school due to the pandemic, but were able to spend more time together.

July 2021 Matt went back to campus, Caitlin continued remote classes. We spent our summers working and spending as much time together as possible.

September 2021 Many visits to Amherst, including hikes and numerous fall activities. Making the most of our short weekends together once back at school.

November 2021 Trip to Universal on our Thanksgiving break with Matt's family. Any trip together we made the most of.

February 2022 The beach is our spot, any season! We've spent many dates, walks, and days on the beach.

March 2022 Matt scouted out a picnic spot on the beach cliffs for a date! Happens to be the same beach cliffs we will be getting married on! He took Caitlin here for a 20th birthday picnic too!

May 2022 Caitlin graduated from UMass Amherst with Bachelors in Nutrition and Public Health.

June 2022 Matt graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering.

August 2022 Now that we were graduated and back home we again spent as much time together before Matt moved to Somerville to start his Masters program.

November 2022 Matt was now at Tufts and Caitlin was just accepted for a Masters program at Westfield. Unfortunately that meant more long distance.

April 2023 We had tackled long distance before so we knew what we were getting into. We both started rigorous programs and worked as hard as we could to make time for each other.

August 2023 Of course this meant more trips to western Mass for Matt. Matt was set to finish his Masters in the fall while working.

December 2023 Caitlin had her white coat ceremony and Matt finished his Masters at Tufts University!

December 2023 That called for a quick celebratory trip to Maine for a relaxing weekend together.

April 2024 Some more rest and relaxing at Marco Island with Matt's parents.

August 2024 Moved into our first condo together in Plymouth!

September 2024 Spent any free time not working or studying together. Of course we would end up in Sandwich at the beach.

November 2024 Matt proposed!

December 2024 Caitlin finally graduated from PA school and this meant she could officially move home with Matt full time! We finally felt like our adult lives were about to begin.

December 2024 Two days after graduation, we rescued Walter! Rescuing has been one of our dreams for years.

May 2025 Caitlin started working in orthopedics, Matt continued to work with Gale. We enjoyed our summer full of festivities without worrying about school.

July 2025 Walter got to spend the 4th down the Cape! He quickly took on our love for the beach too.

August 2025 Celebrated Matt's birthday often in Maine, this time with Walter! Showing him things he has never seen before.

December 2025 Continuing to celebrate our engagement throughout the year and everything we have done together.

2026 Now we are enjoying the process of planning and can't wait to celebrate our love story on September 6, 2026 with you!
