We're getting married!

In 2010, a mutual friend named Kermit Tyler set a blind date for us! We ventured to downtown Atlanta for an evening full of eating, drinking, dancing, and laughter. Specifically, the laughter came from a bartender who could not determine if Michael’s mullet and mustache were indicative of his true style or his sense of humor. The verdict is still out…but regardless, we received complimentary cocktails for the night which helped ease the nervousness of the blind date. For some who joined us on our date (you know who you are) the spirits were too readily available leading not only to hilarious stories which will not be recalled here but also to a car ride home with no one else to talk to but each other. As we drove back to Roswell, the song ‘Foxy Lady’ by Jimi Hendrix played and, unbeknownst at the time, reminded us both of Wayne’s World. Worried by what each other might think, Katie tensely leaned over to impersonate Garth from the scene associated with the song in the Wayne's World movie while Michael simultaneously did the same! We knew at that moment we’d be lifelong friends - we had shared interests and certainly knew how to have fun together. We've been dating ever since! In 2018, we got engaged on Amelia Island in Florida! The proposal was beautiful and, we believe it's safe to say, long awaited by many. #itsaboutgrahamtime. We are so excited to be getting married this year and thankful you’ll be a part of it! We are looking forward to being surrounded by the people we love most, the breathtaking views at Kaya Vineyard, and another night of eating, drinking, dancing, and laughter!
