Maid of Honor
Andrea and Caitlyn did ballet together when they were in preschool. Andrea doesn't remember this...which Caitlyn will never let her live down. They were reunited in high school at Woodrow and have been inseparable ever since, no matter the distance. In high school, there were shared birthday parties and illicit gatherings at the lake before curfew. In college, there were trips to Austin where John Goddard was initiated into the UT tradition of Round Up. To this day, Caitlyn feels like she's part of the family. When she invariably drives her car too quickly down the driveway to park right next to the back door, there's a universal cry of "Caitlyn's here!...and her dog!"
Best Man
When John was moving into Brown, his dad walked in and said "the boy across the hall looks like someone you might be friends with". While he was probably talking about Corey's roommate, his prediction turned out to be true: Corey and John bonded over the next weeks and months by silently reading the New York Times across from each other at pre-class breakfast in the dining hall every morning. You know, normal college freshman stuff. Eventually one of them (probably Corey) said "hello", and it's been 10 years of bedtime chats, overanalyzing decisions, and shredding water knar ever since.
Matron of Honor
After 2 years of being the only grandchild, Andrea was forced to share the familial attention with her cousin, Rachel. They spent countless family gatherings putting on puppet shows and throwing tea parties. It's no wonder that, between all this family time and only brothers amongst the two of them, Rachel actually became more like a sister. Andrea couldn't imagine a better cousin to grow up and share life with.
Best Man
Standing at 6'7" in Levi's super-duper skinny ex-girlfriend jeans, Kelly was a striking figure on campus -- he made an impression on everyone from bewitching British movie stars to dorky running shoe & boot-cut jean wearing Bostonians. He was prominent as ever at Brown's freshman orientation ice cream social, and resident social butterfly Corey approached, John in tow. As Corey and Kelly chatted away, John peered around Corey's shoulder, briefly locking eyes with Kelly. The connection was immediate and smoldering; John knew he had just made his second friend at college. To this day, Kelly remains the only person (other than Andrea) John has shared a room with by choice. The two enjoy in depth scientific conversations that only one of them understands and finding zen moments on the slopes.
Bridesmaid
Andrea and Katie have known each other since preschool. Not all of those years were harmonious. There were disputes about who would be the princess vs. the queen and competitions for who could create the most intricate Nancy Drew clue book! Then these two Catholic school girls made the transition to Woodrow...and they had to stick together. It's been all sleepovers and inside jokes ever since.
Groomsman
The key to high school is finding your people, and thanks to a scheduling fluke junior year, John and Conor found each other. Between spending hours a day together at school and late night drives featuring Radiohead and The Flaming Lips at full volume, the two navigated the angst, parties, and close calls that come with growing up and figuring out where you fit in the world. Secretly afraid to ever live more than 45 minutes apart, both made their way to San Francisco after college. While they each enjoy the new lives they've forged on the West Coast, John and Conor appreciate knowing a piece of home is never more than a quick drive away.

Nicole and Andrea lived across the hall from each other at SMU their Freshman year. There was much running around and opening of doors to make sure an outfit looked alright or to double check where we were headed that night. With her grounded nature and yet bubbly, buoyant personality, Nicole was both Andrea's rock throughout college as well as a friend who always lifted her up. With Nicole, the most mundane of sorority meetings was turned into a memory that would last a lifetime.
Groomsman
David was actually the first member of the Graham family that John tied a knot with: unaware of how sibling dynamics or "being protective of a sister" works, John was quick to trust his life to David on climbing walls in New Mexico and Yosemite. He must have made an OK impression because David never "accidentally" misthreaded his GriGri or forgot to tie a knot in the end of the rope. John remains quietly optimistic that with more adventures he will move up David's rankings of brothers named John.
Bridesmaid
Like John, Andrea decided she needed some tall friends. Enter Rose: the friend Andrea has always looked up to for her fearless capacity to just be herself, and to be fabulous while doing it. Whether dressing up as a giraffe, a flamingo, or an orange-legged backup dancer, Rose has always had the ability to stand out, but also to make you feel like the most important person in the world. Both Delta Gammas at SMU, Rose stands out in Andrea's memory of every costume party, Saturday brunch, or movie-night in.

Since a young age, John has been the family's resident ramen expert. Always up for an adventure, he went all the way to South Korea to hone his appreciation for wheat noodles paired with rich meats in spiced broths. When his studies were done, he let Andrea and John Goddard join him on a tour through Southeast Asia, where John and John got to bond on the backs of elephants, on the back of motorcycles in Bangkok traffic, and behind Andrea as she led them on walking tours of "cultural" things.
