How do I get to and from the venue?How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

Transportation is provided to and from the venue, with one round of shuttles departing at 4:15 PM from The American Club and 853 Beachfront Drive, Sheboygan. No additional shuttles will run, so please arrive on time if you plan to take a shuttle to Whistling Straits. If you're staying at the American Club, you may also take the Kohler shuttle to Whistling Straits (last return for the Kohler shuttle pickup is at 10 PM). The wedding shuttles will begin return trips starting at 10:30 PM, with one return shuttle going to The American Club and one to Sheboygan making loops until 12:30 AM. Complimentary parking is available onsite, but rideshares like Uber/Lyft are not. If you plan to drink, we strongly encourage using the provided transportation.

The dress code is black tie, so please dress to impress! We kindly ask that men wear tuxedos with bow ties and women wear floor-length dresses. Please avoid wearing colors typically reserved for the bride (light cream, off-white, or anything that may photograph white).

Which airport should I fly into?Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

The nearest airports are Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB). Both are about an hour's drive from Kohler. You will need to rent a car or arrange transportation to and from the airport. Alternatively, you could fly into Chicago O'Hare (ORD), which is about a two-hour drive from Kohler.

We do not have a designated room block for the wedding. We recommend staying at The American Club, Home 2 Suites Sheboygan, or Fairfield Inn and Suites Sheboygan. If you would like to stay somewhere a bit closer to restaurants and the beach, there are plenty of rentals around Sheboygan! You can find more details under the "Travel" section of our website.

We kindly ask that you RSVP by August 2, 2025, so we can finalize all the details for our big day. Your timely response helps us ensure everything is perfect for celebrating with you!

Unless otherwise noted on your invitation, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Due to the intimate nature of our venue and its limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those specifically listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, we'd love for them to join us! However, if it's not indicated, we kindly ask that you attend solo to help us stay within the space limits.

We know many of our guests are golf enthusiasts! If you'd like to play a round at any of the courses, we recommend booking a tee time well in advance, as it’s a popular golf destination. You can reserve your spot by contacting the Destination Kohler directly at 855-444-2838.
