How can we protect the bears and our vehicles?

Where are guests staying?

Answer

Most guests, as well as the bride and groom, are staying at AirBnB or Vrbo rental houses in the neighborhoods around Sunnyside restaurant in Tahoe City.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors on the lawn (no stiletto's ladies!), dinner is outside on the lakefront patio with heat lamps provided, and the dancing/reception is indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The historical averages for October 2nd in Homewood are highs in the mid-70s and lows in the mid-40s. You'll want to bring a warm sweater or jacket for when the sun goes down! The reception will be inside.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend with the exception of those in the immediate family/wedding party.

Do you have recommendations for childcare?

Answer

As we have just moved to a new town, we are in the process of finding new babysitters and hope to have some contacts this summer for those traveling with their kiddos!
