If you would like to watch our ceremony on Saturday, November 14 2020, there are two ways to do it: 1) You can join the Facebook group 'Graham and Leah's Wedding' and we will be livestreaming there - this will have a little more of a close-up angle compared to the second option 2) If you do not have Facebook, go to this website: https://www.stnickaa.org/webcam.html (copy and paste the link) and you can watch through the church's camera The ceremony starts at 3:00pm Please let us know if you have any questions!
Family and friends, Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in place and uncertainty over what the future may hold, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding reception. Our plan to get married on Saturday, November 14 has not changed - it will just be a little different than what we had originally envisioned and will be with immediate family only. Fortunately, live-streaming is a thing so we are currently looking for a way for all of you to still be able to watch, even if it's from miles away (more details on that later). While getting married is the most important thing, we cannot imagine doing it without celebrating with all of you which is why we've moved the reception (at the same venue) to Saturday, April 10, 2021. We are hoping travel will be a little easier by then but, just in case it is not, we are also planning another celebration in Minnesota on Saturday, September 4, 2021. We hope you have been safe and well and we cannot wait to see each and every single one of you Love, Graham and Leah
What started off as a beautiful day for football, ended up being a more important day than either of us could have anticipated. We were both in East Lansing with the same group of friends, tailgating for the Michigan vs Michigan State game. Graham was tagging along with his buddy who was dating (now married) to my college roommate. Even though we were meeting for the very first time, we instantly hit it off and became inseparable, spending almost the entireity of the next 24 hours talking, laughing and drinking the time away. While the events of the day are a bit hazy (MSU lost, can you blame me for wanting to drink away my sorrows?) I remember wanting to be near Graham for the rest of the night (and now for the rest of my life). The next morning as we were all leaving, Graham asked me for my number – I told him he already had it (from our tailgate group chat 😆) and the rest is history… ❤️
