Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids and we would love for them to be a part of the weekend but for the wedding night we want it to be your night off! We suggest using Resort Sitters - Colorado’s premier resort area babysitting referral service, providing excellent childcare for families, groups & special occasions. The experienced and reliable sitters watch your children, at your location, on your schedule! Link and more info under "Travel & Accomodations"

Question

Altitude

Answer

Breckenridge is almost two miles above sea level at 9,200 feet. Any time you go above 8,000 feet, you can be at risk for altitude sickness. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, and shortness of breath. These symptoms usually occur within 12 to 24 hours of reaching a higher elevation but improve within a day or two as your body adjusts. Don't let Breck's altitude get the best of you by following these tips: 1. Drink plenty of water starting the week before your travel and during your time in Breckenridge. It is recommended to drink 12-16 glasses a day! 2. Avoid or minimize dehydrates such as alcohol and caffeine. 3. Ibuprofen may also reduce the symptoms of altitude sickness.
