FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you'll be able to make it by March 15, 2026.

Question

What is the recommended wedding attire?

Answer

Eclectic Cocktail Attire. Think of this as cocktail attire with a twist! Feel free to play with unique textures and silhouettes, or throw on a fun pair of shoes. Most importantly, please wear whatever makes you feel your best! Please keep in mind that it may get chilly, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl to stay warm throughout the evening.

Question

What color should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Lily will be wearing white, so that color is taken, but all the others are still on the table! We have a vision of rich earth tones, and if you don't know what that means (which I did not) then just rewatch The Last of the Mohicans for inspo: https://ca.pinterest.com/pin/9359111720218753/ For more details and photos, check out the "What to Wear" section of this website!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:15pm, so we recommend arriving between 4:45-5pm!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Ample public parking is available in Whistler Village's Day Lots. Lot 3 is immediately adjacent to our wedding venue, the Audain Art Gallery. Parking is $2.50/hour and then free after 5pm.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Since the Audain Art Museum is within easy walking distance to most hotels in Whistler Village, transportation to/from the venue will not be provided. For those that would prefer not to walk, there is free parking available near the venue and taxis are widely available (details below).

Question

What taxi services are available in Whistler?

Answer

There are 2 companies in Whistler operating 24 hours/day: Whistler Resort Cabs (1-604-938-1515) Whistler Taxi (1-604-932-3333) Uber is also available, but is relatively new to the area so just keep in mind that drivers may be limited.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

May is a transitional month in Whistler so while we hope it will be pleasant and warm, we also recommend bracing yourself for chilly, wet weather! Historical temperatures in Whistler Village in May have averaged daily highs of 18°C / 64°F and lows of 4°C / 39°F, so be sure to bring a layer / jacket for the evenings! Like everywhere in the Pacific Northwest, there is a 37% chance of rain on any given day in May, so we'd recommend packing a raincoat / umbrella, just to be safe! Our venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces and we will plan accordingly based on weather.

Question

Will we be able to ski/snowboard?

Answer

There is a chance! Spring skiing is fantastic in Whistler; however, historically, Blackcomb has closed for the season around May 20th. We will keep you posted here on any spring skiing updates.
