Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Point-Fort Montgomery

All guests should book the hotel prior to October 26th, 2022 to ensure a room in the hotel block we have reserved. Check-in begins at 3:00PM so there will be plenty of time for guests to check in and get settled prior to the shuttle departing at 5PM. The hotel is located only 6 minutes down the road from Bear Mountain Inn.

Bear Mountain Inn

All rooms at Bear Mountain have been reserved for immediate family and the bridal parties. The Bride and Groom have notified everyone that has been reserved a room at BMI. All guests should book the hotel prior to October 26th, 2022 to ensure a room in the hotel block we have reserved. Parking is included on the premise with a room reservation.

Parking at Bear Mountain

There is open parking at Bear Mountain Inn starting at 5PM, prior to 5PM there may be a parking fee. If you would like to park at the property prior to 5PM please notify the Groom - Matt DeBenedittis Mdebe94@gmail.com or (516) 712-9418 so we can confirm with Bear Mountain Inn. We recommend only parking at Bear Mountain Inn if you did not reserve hotel accommodations for the night since there is the shuttle service from the Holiday Inn Express.

Public Transit from NYC (Bus)

For our guests that are traveling on public transit from NYC, you can take the ShortLine Hudson Newburgh Route out of Port Authority Bus Terminal. If you are staying at Bear Mountain Inn for the night, the bus drops you right off at the Inn! If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express then you would get off at the Rt 9W & Firefighters Memorial Dr - Fort Montgomery stop, this is the stop right after Bear Mountain Inn. There is a 15 minute walk or an Uber can be called. The price for a one way ticket is $12.90 and the trip takes about 1 HR 30 MINs

Public Transit from NYC (Train)

For guests staying in NYC looking for a scenic train ride up to the venue we suggest taking the Metro North Railroad from Grand Central to the Peekskill or Manitou stations. If you want to explore alittle and grab lunch I suggest traveling to Peekskill but if you want to go direct to the hotel Manitou would be better. The train ride is along the Hudson River which is always a beautiful ride. Peekskill is a 15 minute Uber or Cab to the Holiday Inn Express. Manitou is a 10 minute Uber or Cab to the Holiday Inn Express. We suggest taking the train a bit early with your favorite beverage. Also there are restaurants, a brewery and some shops in Peekskill that are always a great stop! The train ticket costs $13.25 one way to Peekskill and the ride is about 1 hour and 6 minutes.

Flight

Westchester County Airport

If you are flying in for the wedding there are a number of airports that you could travel into and out of based off your itinerary while in NY. Westchester County Airport HPN is located at 240 Airport Rd, White Plains, NY 10604 which is 45 minutes from the venue. LaGuardia Airport LGA & John F Kennedy Airport are both located in Queens, NY; we suggest these airports if you are planning on visiting the city prior of after the wedding.
