We met one night in June, shortly after Marcus began working for Mar Mac PD...and no, it wasn't on a traffic stop! Marcus and my sister, Kaitlyn, had been going to the gym together with a group of friends. After learning that Marcus is who Kaitlyn had been going to the gym with, I suddenly became interested in going too. Marcus and I became the "Dream Team" while playing basketball against Kaitlyn and their friend and the rest is history! We started dating May 1, 2020.

On Marcus's birthday, we were getting ready to go out for dinner with his family. He sent me on a hunt around the house in search of the ring...I didn’t find the ring but I did find him getting down on one knee. He asked me to marry him and I of course said YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
