All good love stories start with a swipe right! Our love story may seem non-traditional in the sense, but in these modern day times, more and more people are meeting online. To set the scene, it was 2019 and I (Morgan) was living in Fayetteville, AR working the night shift as a nurse in the hospital. Grady was living in Tahlequah, OK and working the night shift at a plant in Fort Gibson, OK. I guess my radius was set pretty large and we matched one night in December of 2019. Grady reached out to me and was very dry so I didn't message him back. Fast forward to January of 2020 and I was on a girl's trip to Denver, CO. We decided to call each other for the first time and truly just never stopped talking. Once I got back home, Grady come over to Fayetteville, and we had our first date at Sassy's BBQ, and the rest is history. We started driving to each other every week, bonding over us both working night shift and having the exact same schedule. It was also the start of COVID so we had all the time we wanted to spend together. We officially got into a relationship in March of 2020 (either the 27th or the 28th because we truly cannot remember) and it has been an amazing journey ever since. Through long distance, late nights, many miles on the road, and travel nurse contracts, we finally moved in together in the same city in April of 2022. We moved into a one bedroom apartment that we very quickly outgrew. Even though we lived in the same house, I was still driving back and forth to Fayetteville weekly to finish my graduate degree. Finally in April of 2025 Grady popped the question in the sweetest way and we got engaged! I graduated nurse practitioner school in May of 2025, officially ending long distance for good, and we bought a house in August of 2025. We have loved our time together and are truly thankful to have each other. He is the best partner and I am so excited to finally marry him! October 30th please hurry up!
