Maid of Honor
Meet my witty and wise younger sister, Linsey. For the past 17 years she has been keeping me in line while also making me laugh. She has always been there for me but going through this wedding season with her has been extra special because she has a gift for turning chaos into calm and even the most stressful moments fun. Her heart, humor, and support mean the world to me, and I couldn’t be luckier to have her as my maid of honor!

Emma has literally been around since DAY ONE. My first time reconnecting with Rhett was the exact same event where Emma and I became friends, then roommates, and now best friends. Emma has been so incredibly influential to mine and Rhett's relationship and entire college experience. (I mean when you share a dorm room together you're pretty much in it for the long haul). I couldn't have imagine having anyone else to help me navigate a new relationship, college life, and now a wedding!

Shannon was actually friends with Rhett before I knew her and now I honestly look back and don't know how I would've made it through college without her. Soon after Rhett and I started dating he wanted me to meet his friends from back home. Shannon drove all the friends from Alamance county to Raleigh to spend an evening with us and when she showed up in boots, jeans, and a Ram 2500, I knew we were going to be best buds. Little did I know just how important our friendship would become to me. Shannon is the type of friend who would give a kidney for you. Everyone in their life needs a Shannon.

Talk about a true friend! Maggie is a girls girl through and through. She is the one you call when you need to go shopping last minute, want fashion advice or just need to talk. She is wise beyond her years and a true gem to society. Maggie is such a joy to be around and just the kind of girl you want standing beside you on your wedding day!

Ayden and I met during our summer internships a little over a year ago. We haven't known each other for a very long time but it feels like we've been friends forever. As I said we became acquainted at a meeting for our jobs but it wasn't until the next semester where we sat beside one another in our Ag Marketing class that we truly became such good friends. I admire Ayden in so many ways. Her joyful perspective on life, her ability to listen so well, and her strong work ethic in everything that she does. For just the short time I have known her, she has truly been such a blessing in my life.

Molly and Jenny are my twin cousins who were born less than 2 months before me! We have grown up together facing the same seasons of life almost every step of the way. These two inspire me so much to lean on your independence and never lose sight of your goals. My cousins are very special to me for many reasons but one very distinct reason is their support. If I wanted to change my hair they're my cheerleader. If I wanted to train for an olympic sport they have my back. If I was upset and needed to set something on fire in an angry rage they're lighting the match. it is important to have someone with this level of support and I am blessed to have two.

I have known Zig longer than any other friend that I have. We went to Kindergarten through graduation together and before that, we took pre-school dance lessons together. If you have had the privilege of having a childhood best friend you know that bond is uniquely special and totally invaluable. Ziggy and I went have been through it all and even roomed together at NC State for a few short weeks before being sent home for Covid. I am incredibly grateful for the friend that she was and continues to be and can't wait to have her by my side on the day we've been dreaming about since the fifth grade! (Except not in the camouflage dress I thought I wanted back then..LOL).
