Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, trolley transportation will be provided for all guests to and from the venue! The Alida Hotel Valet will serve as the pick up and drop off location. The trolleys will depart for The Mackey House promptly at 4:15pm. Loading for the trolleys will begin at 4:00pm Approx. 2 min walk to the Alida Hotel Valet from the Hilton Garden Inn

Is there a wedding dress code?

Answer

Formal Garden Party! Think polished, festive, full of bold colors and patterns! Gentlemen, need some ideas? How about a floral accent or pocket square with a blue, green, or tan suit? Please avoid black suits if you can. Ladies, show off your vibrant and fun style in a formal full length, knee length or tea length dress. Jumpsuits and suits are welcome! Please avoid patterns with a majority white background. If you’re looking for additional inspiration, type in “formal garden party” or “colorful formal” in to Pinterest or Google. Please indicate food allergies on your RSVP. Our catering team is able to accommodate all dietary restrictions.

What’s the weather like in May?

Answer

It may be quite warm! We encourage guests to plan accordingly while respecting the dress code. The ceremony will be outside with fans and cold beverages provided for all guests.

Are Plus-Ones and Children Invited?

Answer

If your invitation includes a guest or children, their names will be listed on the Save the Date or the formal RSVP. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
