We totally met on "Ok, Cupid.com" I'm pretty sure it was my Christmas ensemble, complete with homemade tutu, profile picture that really peaked his interest-after several weeks of the rather silly, get to know you small talk via the internet, we finally met and I [Gracie] was smitten instantly-hard to say if it was the freckles or the incessant crude humor or his contagious bellowing laugh or that charming smile, that really got me hooked but I was definitely a goner. On April 20, 2017-Levi came over, sat me down and told me a whole bunch of reasons why we should probably stop hanging out-but also a whole bunch of reasons why he wanted to keep hanging out and make this official-the details of which we will keep to ourselves but by that point I was pretty much past the point of no return, so here we are...getting married, tying the knot, jumpin the broomsticks, the nuptials are happening!
It was just a Tuesday afternoon-I don't even remember what we were talking about but all of a sudden he's saying something like, "this seems like a good time..." He kinda "sauntered" around the living room as he retrieved the ring from its hiding place and while he said many cheesey things about how we can do anything together and got down on one knee, he asked me to marry him-I recall blurting out, "OMG, are you sure?" but quickly continued to the "YES!" part before he had a chance to change his mind! I later found out that the ring had been hiding under my nose for months!
A lot has happened in the last couple of years so let's just get everybody up to speed with a highlight reel! 2019-2020 -Started planning like 6-ish different versions of the "dream wedding" -Moved 3 times -And well, the whole pandemic thing -Did not hoard paper products, but may have gone a little nuts on the "cup-o-noodles" -Bought a house -Adopted a super precious and wild and crazy pup -Started actually planning just one wedding -And at least 19 other super neat things happened too!
While we would love to celebrate this occasion with all of our friends and extended family-we have decided on a small, intimate ceremony with our nearest and dearest to ensure everyone's' health and safety as we celebrate this glorious event. Once it is safe for us to gather and celebrate in a more rambunctious and lively manner we will definitely be hosting a gathering to celebrate all of the things with all of our people!
