Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Check out the VMFA! They currently have a lovely exhibit on Frida Kalho, as well as a beautiful sculpture garden; where you can sit and have a bottle of wine from their terrance Cafe.
T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge
Take a walk along the Potterfield Memorial Bridge downtown. The Bridge crosses right over the James River and has tons of walkways branching off of it along the riverside.
Maymont
Those of you traveling with small children, be sure to check out either the Children's Museum or Maymont! They have an interactive nature center (Robin's Nature Center) on the grounds along with tons of gardens and cool places for kids to let loose and explore!
Carytown
Carytown is a great place to check out restaurants and shops that are local to Richmond. Some of the best restaurants can be found along Cary Street or on Main Street directly perpendicular to Cary.
