Question

Is this wedding child free?

Answer

Nope! Feel free to bring kids/babies!

Question

This is far away! What are local lodging options?

Answer

There are a few options! 1. There are a few shared cabins available at the venue! The cabins are very basic, with several twin size beds in each one. You will need to bring your own bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets or sleeping bag). If you’d like to stay in a cabin, please let us know ASAP. We will try to put in you in a cabin with other familiar people. 2. There are spots for tent camping, or campers/camp trailers/RV. If you’d like to do this, please let us know. IMPORTANT: This is dry camping, so no hookups! 3. In John Day and Burns, there is plenty of hotels and Airbnb options available as well! If you’d like to stay with us at the venue, we reserved it from 09/04/2026 until 09/06/2026. We can get there as early as 4:00 pm Friday afternoon, and will need to leave by 11:00 AM on Sunday. There are bathrooms and showers on-site as well.

Question

Planning to stay the weekend? Here’s more info

Answer

If you will be staying the weekend with us, please come prepared with the following: 1. Appropriate clothing for the weather (it will be hot during the day, really cold at night). 2. Food for you and anyone coming with you! Dinner will be served during the reception, but outside of that, you will want to bring some easy camping food/snacks. 3. EXTRA BLANKETS! I cannot stress this enough. It gets cold at night. We recommend bringing a sleeping bag that’s rated for below 30 degrees.
