Maid of Honor
Julia's sister, Ava, and my sister, Ella, were in the same sorority at ACU, when Ava posted her sister was looking for a roommate in the Arlington area Ella sent me her number. As chance would have it we have been an absolute perfect fit as roommates, our shared "grandma hobbies" mean nights in knitting and crocheting, baking, and reading side by side. Julia is a gem of a person and one of the best friends a gal could ask for.
Best Man
Elijah Francis Reynold and I met during our High School freshman year Biology class when we talked through the movie "Lorenzo's Oil." Eli and I worked together our senior year, we traveled together mostly to Colorado, and we shared every high and low along the way. He is considered a part of my family and he makes me want to move Gracie and I to Colorado to be his neighbor every time we talk.
Maid of Honor
My built in best friend and day one! For most of our lives Ella and I were (despite our best efforts) typically about 5 feet apart from each other which caused many fights but also many conspiratory late nights, inside jokes, pillow forts, and team ups against our poor little brother, Griff. We are both getting to plan our weddings alongside each other and I'm so grateful that she's taken up the metaphorical mantel of older sister in helping her clueless actual older sister plan this event.
Best Man
Lucas and I met when our mutual friend, Christian invited us both to all live together. "Luke" and I would go on to spend 4 years as roommates in various crappy apartments and houses. Luke and I became close by quoting our favorite movies and television shows, playing Rock Band, and having a conversation over a cold beer or cigar. He is one of the most trustworthy people that I know and it is an honor to have him as one of my best men.
Bridesmaid
Abigail and I met in wheel throwing 1 in at the University of Arkansas and began to see a lot of each other. What started with quick chats between classes and on breaks from painting turned into sharing a house via our mutual friend and roommate, Thierry. Abigail introduced me to climbing and backpacking, both of which I hated at first, but her encouragement and patience helped me to enjoy and love them. Abigail is one of the steadiest and most honest people I know, I can always turn to her when I need a slap of honesty or just a good laugh.
Groomsman
Christian is the first friend I ever made as he and I have been friends since the first day of Kindergarten when we both realized we had the same name (My first name is also Christion). He and I have had many adventures together. While some of these adventures are road trips to Colorado, Alabama, or Corpus Christi, Christian is the kind of guy who can make something unforgettable without leaving our hometown.
Bridesmaid
Grace and I met through ceramics classes at Uark but really hit it off on a trip the National Art Education Association conference in New York (shout out Dr. LaPorte). After that we would hang out at the ceramics studio and during classes. Grace is one of the loveliest people I know we've been able to maintain our friendship across state lines and when we do see each other it's like no time has passed.
Groomsman
Jacob and I share over ten years of friendship, although we recount when we met differently. When having a conversation with Jacob I always leave feeling understood. While Jacob and I have spent time together in Colorado, New York City and Mexico my favorite memories with him typically look like us sitting around a fire while drinking an old fashioned as we discuss life, fatherhood, and the women we love.
Bridesmaid
Yumi and I met on day of training to work at Grapevine Summit (rip) and I remember thinking she was so cool. Yumi is one of the most well rounded, try anything, jack-of-all-trades people I know. We bonded over our love of climbing and moved from work friends to climbing friends to best friends. Yumi is one of the most loving, loyal, and compassionate people I know. She cares deeply for those who love her and will be your ride or die forever.
Groomsman
Sam and I met when we were both working at HG Sply Co. Sam was the one who first invited me to go rock climbing where I happened to get reintroduced to my future wife. Sam is someone you can laugh with on your good days and someone to pick you up on your hard days. He is one of the most genuine men I know and Gracie and I both look forward to future double dates with him and his lovely wife Regan.
Bridesmaid
Nicole and I obviously met through Izaac so he is going to take over this one. WHAT UP! Unlike most siblings Nicole and I never had a part of our childhood or life where we were not best friends. Nicole is one of the most hardworking, loyal, funny, and determined people that I know. Although, I am less than 2 years younger than her no one in the world that inspires me like her. I am a better man for having her as a sister.
Groomsman
Grant and I met on the way to Young Life camp at Crooked Creek Ranch! That means I have known Grant four days longer than I have known Jesus. Grant is that "sing as loud as you can in the car" friend. He makes everything fun. We have sang at music festivals together, led Young Life together, we have laughed watching stand up and have celebrated every win in life together.
