FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP" page on our website and fill out the online form. We ask that you please RSVP as soon as you can, however, the deadline is March 7th.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Arriving 20 minutes early is a great idea to ensure you're able to find the church, get parking, and settle in before the ceremony begins at 5:00.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Unless you have a guest listed on your invitation, we ask that you do not bring a plus one. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We ask that you wear elevated cocktail attire. Suits or dressy separates for men, and cocktail dresses or chic midi/maxi dresses for women. We would love to see your vibrant, fun spring colors! Think "Garden Party".

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

First, thank you so much for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit the "Travel" page on our website for more information on hotel room blocks.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No! Our ceremony will be at First Baptist Church located in downtown Troy. Our reception will be at Oak Acres Farm & Venue located approximately 13 miles from the church. The reception will take place directly following the ceremony. Feel free to mingle, grab a drink, and fix a plate once arriving at the reception!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we would like to ask that you use this evening as an opportunity to enjoy a night out with your significant other!
