The Charles River Bike Path runs 22 miles round trip from Waltham to Boston. Whether you tackle the whole thing or just bits and pieces (the portion along the Esplanade in Boston is especially beautiful!), this is our favorite way to spend time outside when it's nice out!
While we can hope for the best of weather on our wedding weekend, if you're stuck with extra time and rain, the Museum of Science will not disappoint!
One time, Drew bought a stuffed octopus here. Her name is Jocelyn. She thinks you'll enjoy yourself!
While it's a decent HIKE (har har) from the venue, if you're spending a few days in the area and want to explore other parts of New England, Mount Monadnock is the best--we've hiked it twice so far!
We've lived in Waltham since 2017 and love all of the restaurants here! This is a great area to walk around and eat yourself silly. Too many good restaurants to count, but some of our favorites are Pho 1, Charcoal Guidos, Gustazo (on Main St), and more!
Want to get in the fall spirit or enjoy some hard cider while you're at it? Lookout Farm is very close to our venue!
While Ashland is not the most hoppin' of towns, nearby Natick and Framingham boast one of the largest shopping areas in New England and the Wegmans at the Natick Mall features a CART ESCALATOR. So if you are sticking around Ashland and the Metrowest area and want to be impressed....go here.
