As some of you may know, Brady and I met on a choir trip back in 2018. We were at the Broadway show Wicked, and I was ecstatic to be seeing my favorite show of all time. Brady happened to sit next to me and kept teasing me for mouthing the words to every single song. On the bus ride home from the trip, Brady made his move by sliding into my DMs with the one-liner, "I only got a dime back in change from Subway. I'd give it to you, but you're worth a quarter." Our first "date" was at my house, where we played cards and I showed Brady my super-cool card-shuffling skills. When my mom dropped him off at his house, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I replied, "It's about time!" From there, we spent the rest of high school together, attending homecomings, proms, tennis matches, swim meets, and baseball games. Through getting our braces off, learning to drive, changing career paths, applying to colleges, graduating nursing school, and becoming a dent wizard, we have always had each other at the end of the day. We knew marriage was in our future—the only question was when. Brady answered that question on April 25, 2025, when he surprised me by proposing during my college graduation pictures at Creekside in Gahanna. This just so happens to be where we took prom pictures, went on countless dates, and where I worked at Creekside Event Center throughout college. To say this area is special to us and our relationship would be an understatement. We are so excited to celebrate our big day there as well! We want to thank all of our friends and family from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us and our relationship over the past eight years. We would not be where we are today without your unconditional love and support, and for that, we are eternally grateful. We look forward to celebrating our love with all of you at the Jones wedding on June 26, 2027!
