The ceremony begins immediately at 11 AM. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes in advance to park and find your seats.
Due to the respect for the ceremony and the historical nature of the reception venue, we ask that this remains a 13+ event.
Garden attire: semi-formal, suitable for the summer heat, with natural, floral, or soft pastel colors.
The wedding party will be taking pictures for 30 minutes after the ceremony, but you are welcome to make your way to the reception venue immediately following the wedding. There will be appetizers and drinks prepared. Lunch and festivities will begin about 45 minutes to one hour after the ceremony. Keep in mind that the drive time from Christ the King to Burnett Mansion is about 20 minutes, so plan accordingly.
Yes. Christ the King has a parking lot directly across the street with a crosswalk. For the Burnett Mansion, there are limited spots directly at the venue, but you may utilize the parking lot of the post office across the street. All parking is free.
Wedding programs that highlight each part of the ceremony will be provided for all guests. Typically, a Catholic wedding runs similarly to the Mass and includes music, Biblical readings, a short homily (sermon), the Eucharist (communion), and prayer. It also includes the Rite of Marriage (exchange of vows, rings, and blessing).
