One of our favorite Sunday rituals is heading to our local farmers market for flowers, groceries, and a bite to eat. We sit in the park for hours listening to music. If you are looking for a taste of our life in Chicago, this is how we would recommend you spend your Sunday morning.
Chicago River Boat Architecture Tours
The guided architecture tour is something we always recommend to guests. This tour is just a peek at the rich history of our city and the river/lake, provide the best vantage point! Besides, who doesn't love a boat?
White Sox Game
If you are staying for a little while, enjoy a baseball game with one of the worst teams in the league. While the Cubs are away this weekend, The Sox are here to cheer on. Grab a glizzy, a beer and laugh or cry at one of our hometown teams.
Chinatown Chicago
We highly recommend a trip to Chinatown. If you are staying downtown, you can even take the water taxi! Our two favorite places to eat are Qing Xiang Yuan for soup dumplings and MCCB for just about everything else. While you're there, grab boba and souvenirs or walk over to Ping Tom Park.
Tortello
If you are looking for a place to eat dinner on Thursday or Sunday, try out Tortello. This neighborhood pasta spot is where we had our first dinner date.
