We met in 2018 while out riding side-by-sides, and from that night on, we became incredibly close friends, remaining so until May 2023. That's when Brett asked me the first significant question: to be his girlfriend. Since then, we've been inseparable every day. We often say that God allowed us to mature and grow as friends before bringing us together romantically, as our relationship is too special to risk messing up. We're deeply grateful for this journey, as marrying your best friend is truly a unique blessing. On July 13th, 2024, Brett surprised me with the ultimate surprise at an "almost heaven" swing on top of a mountain in West Virginia. He proposed, and I instantly said yes!
