Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are recommending semi formal garden party attire. Think elegant yet comfortable—floral prints, pastels, light fabrics, and stylish but practical shoes for walking on grass. We want everyone to feel comfortable while looking their best. Ladies think sundresses. Gents think linen or khaki pants with dress shirts—tie optional. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 2nd. We kindly ask that you let us know whether or not you can attend as soon as possible to help us with final preparations.

Where is the venue, and is it indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will take place at The Oar House in Dahlonega, Georgia. Please note that the entire event—including the ceremony and reception—will be held outdoors (weather permitting). We recommend dressing comfortably for the weather and wearing shoes suitable for grass or uneven ground.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 4:30 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Please arrive with enough time to park, make your way to the ceremony space, and be seated before the ceremony begins.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony—which means we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us in the moment. Don’t worry—we’ll have a professional photographer capturing everything, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you after!

Can I bring my children or a plus one?

Answer

All invited guests will be shown on your RSVP page. We unfortunately can only have so many guests at our wedding and therefore had to limit our invites. If you believe we may have forgotten someone on your invite, please let us know!

Answer

We want everyone to enjoy the meal, so if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure there are options for everyone.

Is there on site parking?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available on site at the venue. We’ve made sure there’s plenty of space for all of our guests. If you have any special parking needs, feel free to reach out!
