There’s a funny story behind how we found each other but to make a long story short, in traditional 2000’s fashion, we met online. Both of us had previously had bad luck in the dating world, but decided to give each other a shot. After the first date full of tacos, zoo animals, Christmas lights, endless jokes and long conversation, we were hooked. I like to say we match each other’s energy, though others may say we share one little ADHD-fueled brain cell. With Graci’s screaming metal music, nerdy hobbies, and love for spooky things, she is the yin to Jake’s yang, with his country music, love for goofy movies, and passion for anything electrical or mechanical. Despite our differences, we share so many interests, some of which we’ve discovered together. We enjoy small weekend trips together (our favorite so far has been Hocking Hills, OH!), cooking and discovering good restaurants, being unreasonably competitive over fantasy football, loving on our pets at home, and spending quality time with our friends and family. We now parent two doggies named Neko & Cleo, one kitty named Allen, one leopard gecko named Tango, and one axolotl named Casper who are all incredibly spoiled. We knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together long before Jake proposed, but he made the moment extra special by taking Graci on one of her dream vacations- to in her words, “freaking Harry Potter World”… that’s the clean version. We got engaged in front of Hogwarts in true nerd fashion and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are so excited to have you all join us on our special day in August.
